For example, the site: Recovery.gov has cost round about 18,000.000.00 (I double counted, the number of “0” is correct.) This site was created to track spending under the $787 billion American Recovery and Reinvestment Act.
The 5 year /$18million Dollar contract to re-design the recovery.gov site was awarded to “Smartronix”, in IT company with connections to “Steny Hoyer”, the House majority Leader.
